Wine 49: Charbono

I was looking forward to this and was somewhat dissappointed. Not that it was bad, it just didn't live up to the hype. I heard great things about this variety. I will at some point give it another chance because I have heard it is a vary variable varietal. I guess I just wasn't expecting something this light

Coturri, 2007 Charbono
color: dark purple
aroma: oak, cherry
taste: It was bright and fruity with raspberry/cherry flavors. Light like a boujoulais.
rating: average
