Another wine I drank long ago, probably January, and am just now blogging about. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture when I was drinking it. However, I did keep the bottle because I am starting to save those up for wine making.
Munte Vinu, Feteasca Neagra
color: dark garnet
aroma: berry, floral, vanilla
taste: It was medium dry and I hoped letting it breathe would add some flavor but that never really arrived. There was some subdued light strawberry with a hint of tannins.
rating: decent

Wine 62: Cava
This was a New Years celebration wine, which shows how far back I am in blogging. It is generally the only time I have a sparkling wine.
Seguara Viudes, Brut Reserva Cava
color: very light
aroma: straw and oak
taste: It was very dry, like sprite without the sweetness. There was definitely some lemon flavor.

Wine 61: Zilavka
I drank this a while ago, but stopped blogging for a while. Time to restart with another wine I got hunting around Cleveland with my Dad. It is one of the rare white's I drink, 90% Zilavka and 10% Bena.
Kameno, Winery Citluk 2007
color: dandelion yellow
aroma: white grape, lemon
taste: It was fairly dry with citrus flavors, especially lemon.

Wine 60: Portugieser
I got this one hunting for obscure wines in Cleveland. It is possible that this variety is just a synonym for a more common variety. Oh well.
Darting, 2006 Portugieser
color: rose
aroma: berry, fruit punch
taste: It was light with no tannins. There were floral flavors with a hint of berry and carbonation. It would probably be better chilled and not in December
rating: decent summer wine

Wine 59: Pinot Meunier
Back to a nice well developed red. Its not that I think light wines are bad, I would just rather drink a dry, complex red. Still working off of my backlog, though I do have a bunch of new wines to drink.
Domaine Chandon Carneros, 2008 Pinot Meunier
color: ruby red
aroma: cherry, light, oak
taste: There were light tannins with a touch of smoke, raspberry, and leather. The oak developed over time.

Wine 58: Stueben
Finished off this winery with another typical New York red wine, sweet and light.
The Winery at Marjim Manor, Stueben
color: bright apple red
aroma: strawberry, cherry, roses
taste: It was light and semi sweet. There was some raspberry and is best chilled.
rating: decent summer wine

Wine 57: Cherry
I really didn't mean to buy this. I wanted one bottle and decided to buy another to cut down on the shipping per bottle cost. I thought and to this day I swear that the site said it was cherry port, which might have been interesting.
The Winery at Marjim Manor, Cherry Serenade
color: dark rose
aroma: light bubblegum, why no cherry
taste: It was pretty sweet. Tasted like alcoholic red pop and is best served chilled.
rating: below average
